Based in Reno, Nevada, my personal motto is to create every day with artistic interests and experiments covering a broad range of forms and material. I explore using sustainable materials and recycling textiles in my projects with ultimate goal in showing others alternative ways to reduce global waste. After over two decades managing financial technology projects, I felt an urge to explore the arts and began taking classes in drawing, painting (watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed media), photography, woodworking, sewing, weaving, and quilting. Each new class inspires me to push my exploration of different materials and techniques. I also enjoy documenting my adventures via sketches in my nature/travel journal.
