      <image:title>Contact - I’m Jennifer.</image:title>
<image:caption>Based in Reno, Nevada, my personal motto is to create every day with artistic interests and experiments covering a broad range of forms and material. I explore using sustainable materials and recycling textiles in my projects with ultimate goal in showing others alternative ways to reduce global waste. After over two decades managing financial technology projects, I felt an urge to explore the arts and began taking classes in drawing, painting (watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed media), photography, woodworking, sewing, weaving, and quilting. Each new class inspires me to push my exploration of different materials and techniques. I also enjoy documenting my adventures via sketches in my nature/travel journal. I am a certified UC California Naturalist. I volunteer in participatory science, land and water stewardship, and education and interpretation activities in North Tahoe and Reno area. I am a member of The Lahanton Audobon Society, Latimer Art Club, SAQA - Studio Art Quilt Associates, Great Basin Basketmakers, Reno-Tahoe Modern Quilters, Truckee Meadows Quilters, Nevada Gourd Society, National Basketry Organization, Meander Quilt Guild, John Muir Laws Nature Journal Club, and the Reno Tahoe Pedalers.</image:caption>

<image:caption>My dear friend’s husband of 60 years passed away from leukemia in May 2021. Last month when we spoke, she said that she missed Walt so much. I asked if she had any clothes of his in which I could make something for her. She said that she had donated all his clothes but had kept two of his wool sweaters. With these two sweaters, I made her a 55”x38” blanket so she now has something physical to wrap her fond memories of his love around her.</image:caption>
